ABOUT
It all started in Costa Rica when I joined a chocolate making workshop
Ancel, has been farming cacao and making chocolate for 18 years, is one of those very gifted teachers and human being. She sparked the light in me, I wanted to learn more
In January 2026 I went back to Puerto Viejo and completed my chocolate making apprenticeship
It was a transformative experience
Every morning started by sitting quietly with the cacao tree. I learned about farming cacao, all the magic that takes place in the kitchen, the medicine, nutritional and beauty benefits of cacao and chocolate - a real hands on learning process
Home in Leeds I would love to share good quality cacao and chocolate with you
I'm a female entrepreneur and solo owner of Cacao Tribe. My philosophy is simple: I believe in being transparent about the process of making chocolate and cacao. I want to know the story behind the ingredients that goes into my products and I'm on a mission to spread the pleasure and health benefits of cacao with as many people as possible - creating a real happy Cacao Tribu (spanish for tribe/community)
Thank you Ancel, Jack, Lindsey and Angie

Be curious, keep things simple and personal
Handmade
Because it is satisfying and meditative. Every batch of beans is different. You feel the heat from the roasting pan, you listen to the sound when the shells crack, feel the wind that takes the shells away and the smell and sound that change every hour the refiner machine spins. The process stimulates all senses and it takes time which is very relaxing. You will be able to taste the difference. Handmade chocolate is a better alternative to commercial products
beans and ingredients
Quality has a price. Real chocolate is like fine wine or great coffee it is an affordable pleasure. It all starts with good beans. As I develop the business I will commit to trying different origins of beans, different percentages and different roastings to give you new taste experiences. All my cacao products are vegan, gluten, dairy, and soya free. No added palm oil or additives.
